A simulation-based optimization method for facility layout considering the AGV path

Abstract Aiming at the problem of facility layout in intelligent workshops, a collaborative optimization method and AGV path planning based on discrete event simulation (DES) is proposed. This can increase production capacity workshop by solving open-field (OFLP). First, to simplify complex constraints OFLP, mathematical programming model established. Second, hybrid algorithm proposed solve optimal corresponding multiple paths. Then, DES used calculate logistics data layout, taken as objective function. Finally, practical research case. The calculation results show that increased 54% under optimized layout. Through special nonlinear integer modelling, take into account dynamic process conflicts give full play flexible efficient characteristics layouts. final not only be close actual situation but also have excellent performance.
